Okay, okay, so you can't go anywhere at anytime with your dogs off leash. There's leash laws to keep everyone's dogs safe for a reason. BUT! With this program, the skills and knowledge both you and your dogs are going to learn are priceless. The leash will simply be there because the law says so, not because your dog is going to run away. The biggest value in this program, is trust. You must trust your dog to listen to you around major distractions, but your dog must be able to trust and understand you will keep them safe. In 6 one on one sessions we will work on these commands: Come, Sit, Down, Place, Heel (off leash walk), Off, Quiet, Break (release command), as well as verbal markers such as Yes!, No, and Good, all of which will be around major distractions with no leash! This program may require the purchase of an e-collar tool to proof off leash control. Don't worry, we will go over how to properly use this tool in all situations. Your dog is still a living, breathing, thinking individual who makes impulse decisions at times (sound familiar? We all do too). This is simply a safety net to ensure your dog is safe and secure at all times. Prerequisites for this program are: previously purchased a Manners Matter Program (biggest savings!); OR you must purchase 1 additional evaluation lesson for me to assess whether I feel this program is a good fit for you and your dog.
